Bergers

Set in the sweeping landscape of Shawmut, Montana, this project transformed a historic dude ranch into a premier residential estate. Our team executed site-wide architectural upgrades while carefully preserving the property's rugged heritage.

We completely reimagined multiple aging decks, rebuilding them into expansive, weather-resilient outdoor living spaces designed for large-scale entertaining and panoramic views.

We rebuilt failing water crossings and engineered two entirely new heavy-timber bridges, delivering high-capacity vehicular access that doubles as striking architectural focal points.

Operating in a remote, active ranch environment required master-level orchestration. We successfully phased demolition, heavy equipment operation, and complex material delivery without disrupting the serene estate.

Bridging the Estate: Custom Steel Fabrication

A cornerstone of this property's infrastructure upgrade was the engineering and installation of a custom steel truss bridge. To ensure absolute structural integrity and precision, the primary steel framework was fully custom-welded and assembled off-site in our fabrication shop.

Once delivered to the site, the heavy span was maneuvered into position using skid steers and anchored securely atop a foundation of heavy-duty, high-capacity ground screws. With the foundational steel set, the bridge was finished with premium decking. To complete the circulation of the property, custom adjoining ramps were constructed at both ends, creating a seamless, architectural pathway that effortlessly connects the primary house deck to the detached garage.
